In this body of work I focused primarily on monochromatic monoprints and washes exploring the ways that the pigment drips and bleeds to create a sense of mystery in atmospheric paintings that allude to landscape, arches and monolithic forms. I often use landscape references to convey the spiritual experience of God’s self-communication in creation. I consider these small wash paintings to be meditations in the spirit of Zen wash paintings and offer them for your “contemplation.”
